The room was a lovely castle view beautiful room 1 king. the bed was super comfortable. the hotel staff were very helpful. the location was ideal. It was close to shops and theatre venues.

i thought the tea and coffee facilities were pretty basic.

the hotel's location made it easy to walk to many attractions. it took me about 20 minutes to reach the castle. i also found the hotel close to many shops and restaurants.

pathetic shower dim lighting

The spa was a letdown. I expected better. the cold shower wasn't working after the sauna, important for cooling down. only one shower had a cold jet, and it was pathetic. the changing rooms were messy, and the locker numbers were hard to see. The lighting was dim. i really needed to relax but couldn't.

the mini fridge was a convenient addition to the room. i also appreciated that the windows open (a rare find these days!).

the pool was quite busy, so finding a lounger was difficult.

Really good Stay

generous staff gorgeous flowers

The staff was very generous and consistently asked if we wanted drinks. They checked again when the bar was about to close. Gorgeous flowers decorated the common floors. Cleaners vacuumed carpets throughout the day.

I experienced slow, unstable Wi-Fi. It was impossible to connect my laptop to my office computer. There is no Ethernet anymore.

The front of house staff provided a lovely welcome. Aamir provided excellent service during our honeymoon. He were great too. He was helpful, kind, and attentive to every detail.

The room was really spacious. The bed was particularly comfy. It made for a really good night's sleep. The room was quiet. The bed and pillow were comfortable.
